Designed to take a sample of the transmit signal and convert it to a frequency at which it can be monitored or analysed. Often monitoring of the transmit signal is required at L-Band, or alternatively a translation of the transmit signal to the receive band which is then applied to the receive equipment in a test mode.

TLT units are supplied without filtering and the output of the unit therefore contains all mixing products. For higher level applications, units with filtering are also available.

TLT’s covering S, C, X, Ku, DBS & Ka-Bands are available in the following versions;

• Rack mount; the most basic versions available, without a full front panel & remote control.
• Rack mount with a full user interface; for applications requiring gain control, mute function or remote M&C of alarms, range switching etc.
• Rack mount, hot-swappable; modular format for space conscious applications, housing 2off TLT’s in only 1RU, available with or without a full user interface.
• Remote mount; outdoor weatherproof designs with or without remote control.

Units have a highly stable internal reference signal and automatically detect and lock to an optional external 10MHz reference input signal facility
